NE council holds off on GC scallop action
PROVIDENCE, RI General category (GC) scallopers will not be subjected to new regulations during the 2006 fishing year.

Yellowtail TAC reduction stuns fleet
PROVIDENCE, RI The 2006 total allowable catch (TAC) for Georges Bank yellowtail flounder will be less than half of the 2005 TAC.
